As ambassadors to the sport we are currently offering Club Freestyle sessions,

 these are primarily to promote freestyle kayaking within the club scene whilst providing guidence for those new to the sport,

Sessions are suitable for all abilities from absolute novice to international competitor.
Being able to roll will make the day a more enjoyable experience, freestyle IS a wet activity!

About me...
Im Adrian Durrant, current Irish team paddler, team manager and chairman of Irish Freestyle. Ive been paddling to a high level for a number of years whilst studying an honours degree in watersports im also a BCU level 3 coach and level 3 ICU instructor.

The club sessions will take place at either Sluice, Lucan or Templemills weir, Celbridge.

Both areas offer flat water locations to work on balance and rotation, boat outfitting and flatwater basics before moving to the feature to look at spins and edge control including how to score points for fun competitions and then drop down to an eddyline to go ballistic, kick up those feet and watch the boat go vertical.

Price €10 per person
Session generally lasts 2-3 hours depending on groups
